Greetings All!

I just constructed a 1/2" shield using the gluing methods spoken of here.
(Titebond works well!)  To edge the shield 1" flat, aluminum strips were
used.  It was (WAS) holding up very well... then came Thorbrandr.

Count Thorbrandr managed to destroy my new, shiny shield by hitting the only
edge that was not covered with the aluminum. Grrrrrrrrrrr...

Ah well, back to the presses!
