I will take that challenge from you Kevin. I do not believe that I can
penetrate a hauberk worn over a gambeson with a sword. Perhaps I can not hit
hard enough to do it but I think that there is a reason that a hammer was a much
more efficient weapon against an armored opponent. Either way, and regardless
of the rules, what we do is a sport. A sport that has grown, been developed,
and constantly try's to perfect itself because of the works of the athletes that
participate in it. Just to point this out I am willing to bet that if given the
chance most fighters would not be willing to throw a rap against a naked
opponent with a gun (going shot for shot). Yet, we take a rap shot as a serious
shot. A man in armor, being hit with a rap shot from a sword, would probably
laugh (I guess).

Kevin, if I do take you up on this, I am not responsible for any damage to
Gwen's dress form caused by your suggestions to me!!
