I will indeed be teaching two classes at University this weekend, one in 16th
century Scots Highland garb (yes, including the feilidh-mhor) and another
roundtable on Scottish personas.  Anyone interested is welcome to attend.

Just as a side note to the gentle who thought filidh-beag translated into "not
enough material for a real kilt":  the average feilidh-mhor--4 yards of double
width material.  The average filidh-beag--8 yards of singlw width material.
Of course this is for modern kilts.  The true feilidh-beags as worn in the
17th and 18th centuries only had 4 or 5 yards of single width material--and
yes, they were often worn when there was "not enough material" for a feilidh-
mhor.
