Does rhubarb ever bring on tears?  (Unless eaten raw, and then it brings on a
lot more than just that!*)
Plus rhubarb isn't "hairy underneath"  -- the stalks are cut, not uprooted.

Rhubarb would make a good basis for a new riddle, tho -- lots of interesting
qualities and not a plant that comes readily to mind.

*Caveat to general readers:  do NOT eat raw rhubarb, it's toxic!
