Inflation, death and taxes

Poster: Kara <kara@tez.net>

In 1381 Wat Tyler led the English Peasant's Revolt in London, in an effort
to abolish the poll tax (a tax levied just for existing). He was also
protesting the Statute of Laborours, a mechanism devised to fix wages in an
effort to limit the runaway inflation experienced by the nobility after the
Black Death.

There. Managed to talk about inflation, taxes, and death, and keep it
relevant. Whew!
