Good Gentles, Pennsic is just around the corner and it's high time to
make those new additions to your wardrobe you've been putting off. On
June 12 the Shire of Border Vale Keep will be holding a potluck event
where everyone can sew in air-conditioned comfort with plenty of room to
stretch out. Bring your sewing machine and projects to work on. If you
need help with a sewing project, or if you are new and need advice on
where to begin researching your garb, come and join in the fun. There
will be several classes offered, including "The Art of Wrapping a Sari"
and "Beginning Card Weaving". References and lots of butcher paper for
patterns will be available for your use. Merchants, this is a good
opportunity for you to show your wares! The site is the New Ellenton
Civic Center on Myrtle Street (1 block off of Hwy 19) in New Ellenton,
SC. Signs will be posted at the turnoff from Hwy 19. Bring a covered
dish to feed 6-10 people. The site is dry and no pets are allowed.
