Actually, a much easier way to solve the additions of banana/choc/nuts is
to make a banana bread and put the white choc and nuts in - I make the
same all the time with semi-sweet and it's delicious.  You don't have to
worry about liquid/solid ratios as that can be really confusing for the
non-baker.  Breads/cakes also tend to ship better than cookies - they
don't get stale as quickly, not that this will be a huge problem since it
only has to go to Germany.                                               
               
If anyone wants the banana bread recipe - it's very simple and easy to
find in most cookbooks, but I'd be happy to send them one privately.
