Something about those B-titles

     Greetings, all...and especially Herveus.

     I noticed a thread on sca-east...and it happened to have something to
     do with what Herveus asked today:

     The right word for both the state and the estate of a baron is
     "barony".

     From my online dictionary:

     > webster baronetcy
     bar.on.et.cy \-se-\ n : the rank of a baronet

     > webster barony
     bar.ony \'bar-*-ne-\ n 1: the domain, rank, or dignity of a baron 2: a
     vast
     private landholding

     What he said.
     And, there is no such word as "baroncy", before someone weighs in with
     that.

     Funny how these two nets pop up with the same things at about the same
     time...even principalities.
