Dear Friends:
     I've just come across a flyer for the Loch Norman Highland Games which
are to be held at Rural Hill Plantation which is about 12 miles north of
Charlotte, NC on April 21-23 1995. While it's not an SCA event, there are
things of interest to us therein: Scottish Athletic Events (Pros only);
Battle-axe, Darts, Long bow, kilted race, Highland Dancing, Piping &
Drumming, Harp and Fiddle competitions. Admission: $15 for 2 day, $10 for
Saturday, $8 for Sunday. Students $5, under 12 free. Call 1-704-875-3113.
There is camping and motels.
