Re: Use of honorifics



As regards this thread, a note from a Caidan-in-Exile ...

Persons with a GoA (at least from what I recall from my Caidan etiquette 
manuals -- yes, there is more to Caidan etiquette than KILL, MAIM, and 
BASH, thank you kindly for asking) are addressed in the third person as 
"The Honorable Lord" or "The Honorable Lady"; the alternate third person 
form is "His Lordship" and "Her Ladyship."

Likewise, when addressing such creatures in the second person, it was 
"Your Lordship" or "Your Ladyship," as I recall.
