Hmm, this has happened to several Drakkens, also, and all the
problems magically disappeared after several long phone calls
to California. I'm starting to think perhaps Milpitas has some
arrangement with the phone companies...
Plus, why should we have to phone them each time someone new
joins the SCA? I would think Milpitas would try to get things
processed as quickly as possible; as a newbie, I'd not be too
impressed with the Society if it took months on end to receive
my card. Luckily, both of the times I joined I received my
cards within a month or so. What's the problem? I could
understand if the delay was the norm, but there seems to be no
pattern.
