Greetings unto all who read this list,

The rules for Rapier combet in Meridies have been approved and a trial 
period for rapier combat in our kingdom has started as of January 1st.  
Copies of the rules are available from the Marshal of Fence, Sir Robert 
Greenheart (Bob Shippee) 3682 Pinehill Circle, Acworth, Ga. 30101  
(770)974-5988 or from myself, Lady Irene von Schmetterling (Wendy 
Colbert) 1469 Briers Dr. Stone Mountain, Ga. 30083  (404)297-7519.  They 
are also available from me via email   wendyc@vivid.net

Sir Robert will be sending copies of the rules to the seneschal(e)s of 
each local group shortly.

Sir Robert and I will be attending the Rapier workshop of February 3 to 
teach a Rapier marshals class and have been asked to attend Winter 
Wonders to teach the marshals class. If any autocrats would like to have 
fencing at their event please contact me and I will do my best to provide 
what is needed.

Any individuals that hold Rapier Marshal warrents form other kingdoms are 
asked to contact Sir Robert Greenheart to learn the details of becoming a 
Meridien Rapier marshal.
