Speaking for myself, as a foreigner, I think that if the item for sale is
SCA related, it woul dbe a service to post it to the list.  My reasoning
is this:  To post a sale of Tupperware or a used car is in appropriate,
because this is not where people go to obtain those things.  But until
bliauts and chainmail, helmets and breastplates are available at Sears,
our only real source of these things if from a few rare merchants and
each other.  So to let people know that an item not readily available in
mundania is available here would be useful indeed.
