I'm not saying that you are incorrect, Well really yes I am.... Last year
there were no Easterners at Pointless. Kinda hard to say that when they
ain't there. The time before that Thorbrand was on the throne and Atlantia
lost the point...

Now that is first hand information. You want to know something else, we are
poor winners in many ways. However, we have always treated fairly with our
opponents. I however, have been present at the discussions at wars where
the odds were stacked against us. We prevailed and won. I have been
present when we routed our opponent and then later be criticized for
winning. Maybe they should work as hard as we do. Maybe they should have
the support of their populace and crowns like we have. If you don't believe
this then come out and play with us.

As to what the others say. Correct the problem then and there, on the
field. Play the game and have fun. You know why we win? We train to have
fun. When our rapiers are lead into a fight they are going out there to
have the same kind of fun when we pound each other.

As to those fellows who cock snoots at us, I say Cyrano's universal
challenge:

"To the first to fall I shall build a monument..."

Take this with a grain of salt, I'm chief among the poor losers.

This is really sad, given that the Pointless War was always supposed
to be a friendly contest, and the name was picked to reflect
that. Sounds like we could use more reminders of this among the
populace -- and we all can help. At the next Pointless, or any
conflict, please be sure to put your 2 cents in if you see anyone
being a bad winner or a bad loser.
