If this were done, I would suggest that the older kingdoms be placed on the
bottom and the newer kingdoms added on top. Thus the growth of the
Society's kingdoms can be traced by moving up the pole.
In this way the pole does not have to symbolize what was referred to as a
"false hierarchy", but simply growth.
