<help, help,I'm feeling confused> Okay, I need a clarification: if this is
*not* a new tabard and banner competition, what formats are considered
appropriate for use on the field, besides shield painting, favors and
sideless surcoats (not my period, nor Einar's)? Also, if we haven't gotten
around to registering our arms/devices yet, may we still use it in a small
format <*weak* grin - I've decided on it, just haven't gotten a round tuit
re: registering the silly thing>. And no, I'm not going to build a scale
model longship with heraldically correct round shields hanging on the sides
for this (don't have the time, have too many hobbies and wood's not my
medium anyway)! (this is why I'm posting this to the Merry Rose at large, I
want to pick heraldic brains, not just Lady Deirdre's)

Also, regarding the Open display, I take it that is going to be a
pick-yer-medium-and-show-us-yer-stuff sort of thing? If it's actually
supposed to be limited to specific mediums/items, what are the parameters?
Do we need documentation (I know it's always appreciated)?

Thanks!

Elen

(always looking for good ideas to warp into gleefully heretical/hysterical
items)
