No, you got it right. The rest of us "whiners" failed to reply to this
for three reasons:
1) We had already made all our points and felt it was time for "closing
noise", a list phenomenon in which a completed topic is passed on to
others to satisfy Sturgeon's Law.
2) We were dumbfounded by this and the earlier comment about "sphincters".
3) If one is labeled "argumentative", one can either agree or argue,
conceding the point in either case. To a lesser extent, this is also true
if one is labeled a "whiner".
Eadric, it's time for us to leave the field with dignity. If we hurry, we
can give someone else The Last Posting, an ersatz victory condition.
