In response to the nearly deafening roar of the crowd, I will post the 
typescript of the War Over the Dog section of the chronicle to the list.  
A few warnings:  (1) it will take me a couple of days - be patient (2) 
I'll edit the text (join up words broken over lines and punctuate the 
sentences) but won't translate the language into modern English or 
regularize the spelling.  This shouldn't be a problem for most folks (if 
you can read Robert Burns, then Friar Adam Abell should not cause you any 
trouble).  If however, there is something about the dialect that is 
troublesome, give me a holler and I'll try to explicate it.
