Surely you are upset at not seeing this list merely because of
your innate curiousity and not your need for external validation,
so I would suggest that you never move to the Outlands. You would
be driven mad because circles here are ENTIRELY closed and secret.
NOTHING that is said in circle may be carried outside of circle.

I had absolutely no clue that I was under consideration for a
peerage until I was called into court to be sent on vigil. And
yet somehow, we in the Outlands manage to live life under the
constant threat that somehow, somewhere, one of us may be called
next... :^)

I'm not certain what your point is here, so I apologize if I am
addressing the wrong one...I have always felt free to write in (and
even prolixly, if I choose ;^) for those around me who do good stuff.
Perhaps I am odd. Perhaps I am overly confident. Perhaps I have always
been good pals with every single king and queen that has warmed the
thrones. Perhaps there is a loud, flapping sound near my posterior.

No matter the perhapses, my letters have always been received well.
Never once have I received a letter back that said, "How DARE you
write Us?!!" or other such Confrontational Remarks.

An even better way if you don't like writing letters is to
go up to your favourite local peer and say, "Gosh, I just found out
that so-and-so has absolutely no recognition for her fantastic
illumination. Did you see the scroll she did for Thusby's Pearl?"
(This may be more common here in the Outlands, where only the peerages
are polling orders. Out there, it may be equally valid to approach
your favourite local kingdom-level-award-holder.) Be sure to give
name, area, and concrete example that they can go look for. (I
personally think this is just as easy to right down, fold, and
seal inside a stamped envelope addressed to TM's, but some folks
feel pimpish promoting their pals directly like that, I guess.)
(Which is what I have also noticed w/regards to peers and their
students in circles, too...I think it is rare that a peer will
bring up their own student for fear of being seen as nepotistic
(word?) or pimpish...but that was brought up in another post,
I think.)

I don't think I should have liked to have known that I was on
a watchlist. I was happy in my oblivion, and had I known, it might
have made me behave weirdly...or at least check under the beds
at night.
