esp. new fighters.I had a similar experience when I changed helms
earlier this year.Stuff like where the helm sits on your head(in
comparison to the old one) and padding makes a big
difference-IMO.Padding can be a esp. tricky thing, as we have
rules on the least amount of padding a helm can have, but none
are really realilistic on a "maximum amount".Not to mention the
different angles of a new helms shape and how that may affect the
force of a blow.EX #1: If you've ever tried on Sir Corby's 12th
D-face and fought with it you may experience two things about
blow force.1:Light blows to the top front feel stout and 2:
Blows to the top sides feel light.
  I was lucky to see my knight do acknowledgement tests on his
own new helm the same day I got mine.But it still took a lot of
work to reconize the differences in the helms on the field.
