Of course!
And it has been done.  Several 'traditional' tournaments have happened
without feasts.  Novice Tourney and  St. Patricks Day bloodbath to name two.
 Lochmere, in it's previous incarnation (Myrkewood/Arindale) used to have a
tourney in a park with a barbeque afterward.

There is no template for events - use your imagination, your talents and
desires.  We each reinvent the SCA everyday.
