  Not a bad start, but the struggle goes even deeper into economics, social 
development, land rights, inheritance law, and all sorts of reasons why the 
wealthy elements of Italian city-states outside of the Kingdom of Naples seemed 
to naturally split into at least two factions. Once Ghibelline-ism was 
effectively dead, the Guelfs themselfs split into a White Guelf and Black Guelf
