My father, Clarence Elliott of that Ilke, a some time resident of 
Hawkwood, has already made one trip to this town.  The library is 
gone, the  new school that opened this fall is gone, even the 
baseball backstop is flat.  He is going back with another load of 
blankets, pillows sheets and water for them on Tuesday.  He is going 
to talk to the school and the librarian and see if either one would 
like the books or if there is anything else they need.  I'll let you 
know as soon as he has called me.
