It probably also depends on which version of Piers Plowman you're talking
about. There are 3 distinct variants, each with multiple manuscript
authorities and convoluted textual histories. Whenever I get tired of my
Troublesome Saints and Brother Adam's peculiarities, I just think about
the people working on PP and feel a whole lot better.
