Greetings of fair and generous Rosies,

A couple of weeks ago my lady posted a notice that the Canton of Elvegast
is doing a demo at the Raleigh North Carolina Renaissance Faire at the
North Carolina Fairgrounds. Since then one or two people have asked how to
get to the fair grounds.

The Raleigh North Carolina Renaissance Faire will be at the North Carolina
Fairground, in Raleigh, NC on March 29 and 30 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
(Easter weekend).  

>From the west:
Come east on 40. As you approach Raliegh, 40 will split, two lanes on the
left continue 40 east, and the two lanes on the right are the Wade Ave
exit.  Take the Wake Ave exit.  About a mile down the road the next exit is
Blue Ridge Rd.  This one of those exit where you get off come to the top of
a hill and there is a stop light.  Turn right at the stop light.  Go a
couple of blocks and then turn right on Trinity Rd.  This road goes along
the back of the fairgrounds.  After about 1/2 mile there will be a road to
the left call Youth Center Rd, turn left and then left again into the
parking lot.

>From the south or north;
Take your best route to Raleigh.  Get on the Beltline going west. Get off
at the Hillsborough exit going west.  Turn right on Youth Center Rd. as you
come into sight of the Trintiny Rd intersection you will turn right into
the parking lot.  There will be signs directing you from Hillsborough St.

I have been assured that there will be signs from Blue Ridge Rd and
Hillsborough St directing you to the right place.  I have directed you to
the closest gate to the area we have been given to do the demo.  It is
possible that you will be redirected to over-flow parking so go with the
flow.
