Just for the record, I find this sort of "light commercialism" to be a
completely acceptable addition to SCA listservs, and have no personal
objection to occasional annoucements by "professional" merchants.

One of my newsgroups requests that posters preface their subject titles
with "FS" in their for-sale posts, and that merchants promote their
overall business (check out Krazy Otto's House o'Codpieces!) no more than
once a month.  Until such time that I find my mailbox overflowing with
ads, that's the most restriction I would want to see.
