Southern Principality

Dear Neil,
     Yes, there has been a lot of talk about a southern principality. I've
been told by "northerners" that we don't belong.  But these were the
pretentious sorts, I'm sure not all the noble subjects in the northern tier
of our great Kingdom feel this way.  The degree of heat that this debate
engenders should be a fair indication of the intensity of emotion
experienced on both sides.  There are indeed some very angry people down
here.  Sort of reminds me of the emotional environment present just before
the Civil War.  What's next?  A Mason-Dixon line for the Kingdom of
Atlantia?  We should make a serious effort to come to our senses soon and
talk over our differences rationally, and not with the hot-headed machismo
that has been running rampant on this site recently
