Tourney of Ymir

LET ALL KNOW! That Earl Thorbrandr Olafsson will play his prize to become a
Free Scholar of Atlantia at the Tourney of Ymir. The prize will take place
at approximately 10 am saturday morning on the rapier field. I have the honor 
ofconducting the prize. All those who wish to test Thorbrandr's mettle on the 
Rapier field, or to see it tested, please attend. As per our Ancient and Noble 
Traditions (tm), the Free Scholars will have the first stab, Provosts will have
second stab and all others (time permitting) will have an opportunity to face
this noble gentle on the field of honorable combat. Also, as is our A&NT
(Ancient
and Noble Tradition (tm)), a purse of money will be gathered to be given to 
Thorbrandr (with only a little taken out for the impoverished Provosts' fund)
upon the completion of his prize. 

I hereby challenge and encourage all to make this an event that will not soon be
forgotten.
