With regards to a good place to get acceptable feast gear:

Good gentles...I do not know in which part of Atlantia you are located but an
excellent place to obtain feast gear is the Pottery Factory in Williamsburg.
 They have wooden wear as well as pewter.  Hope that this helps in your
quest.
