Re: two questions

Talk about eerie!

I too purchased a beautiful recurve at a flea market for $20. Unfortunately
it too is 45 lbs draw.

I've looked into the same option Lord Blackbow suggested (longer string) but
the gentles at one archery shop advised against it. They said that would
change the nock point and where the string slaps the wrist. I told them I
would be wearing armor so this wouldn't hurt me (that got strange looks) but
they also said that this is hard on the bow and could cause it to break
eventually, which would be unpleasant. I don't know how reliable this info
is, but that's what they told me.
