I'm not exactly sure when it was, but Richard was King.  Ish was holding
Baronial Court at the same time as playing a game of chess against
Richard.  After giving baronial awards and stuff, Ish started to make a
speech about how his powers were waning, and Richard interrupted to say
"checkmate in two moves."  (or something to that effect)

My memory is that it was at Pennsic, and BD was camped where the shower
building at the bottom of the Runestone Field now stands, and Oldcastle
was camped a little below that.  But that situation existed also when
Tsuneo was King, so I might have the camp distributions confused.
