Tir-y-Don's Pilgrim Progress event

Poster: Lorenzo <detoma@erols.com>

Greetings,

I just wanted to thank the Barony of Tir-y-Don for a great event this past
weekend. The weather was unbelievable (70+ degrees in late November, unreal
for us Northerners!), and the site was spectacular. The archery competition
was absolutely great. They had painted a 9x16-foot tall ship complete with
pirates and scantily clad wenches (managed to miss all of those, not for
lack of trying), and 3D effects such as exploding powder kegs and cannons.
The three-person team archery competition afterwards was a great contest,
fought until the very end. The Pirate's Court at feast was a lot of fun. A
really great event, and a hearty vivat to Lord Galen and Lady Aethelflaed
and everyone else who had a hand in this.
We had a great time.
