Please note the changes:

The Shire of Bordervale Keep invites all to...For Love and Honor. There
will be a double elimination heavy fighting tourney and rapier fighting as
well. Prior to the tourney, fighters will campaign for tokens from the
gentles attending the event, then the fighters, accompanied by their token
givers, will proceed onto the tourney field. A prize will be given to the
fighter with the most tokens collecyed. For those anxious for more
combat...a torch-lit bear pit will be held for the heavy fighters following
the feast. Watch out for our fund-raising "kissing wenches" who will "kiss"
for a donation. An A&S competition will be held for those wishing to enter
their tokens. No documentation is required. Prizes will also be awarded. A
fabulous feast will be served Saturday evening and a "while it lasts"
brunch will be supplied on Saturday morning. Children's activities are
planned and merchants are welcome. Please contact autocrat if you plan to
merchant.

Adults(13 and over): $12 on board/site, $7 on board/off site, $6 off
board/on site, $5 off board/off site, children 6-12 are one half price and
children 5 and under are guests of the Shire. Please make checks payable to
The Shire of Bordervale Keep, SCA, Inc. and send your reservations to Lady
Astrid(Cindy Ward), 2382 Turkey Trail Dr.,Hephzibah, GA 30815. Cabin space
is limited so early reservations are recommended. If you have any dietary

DIRECTIONS: Camp Tanglewood, 2687 Columbia RD., Martinez, GA 30907. From
I-20 take exit 64B (Bobby Jones Expressway). Turn left onto Washington Rd.
Turn left at your next light onto Columbia Rd. Stay on Columbia Rd. until
you see the "right" turn into Camp Tanglewood. Signs will be posted. The
site opens at 5:00pm on Friday and closes at 12:00pm on Sunday. The gate is
open from 5:00pm Friday and Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm.

Contrary to what we had printed in the Acorn and due to policy changes, the
site is absolutely DRY.
