Perhaps these Gentles might have been well-served to take a break from
vying for the crown.  Sometimes folks need to be reminded that this is
just a game, and their real lives need to be lived as well.

I haven't read the letter, so I don't know what statements were made,
but it would be my thought that the child would be more important than
the hats, therefore why vie for the hats...?  Sometimes ya just gotta
spend more time in real life than SCA.
