Lyanna,

While I was the Kingdom Chronicler, a policy was instituted in Atlantia
that allowed groups to hold events on the same day within 150 miles. It
is up to the autocrat to inform the Kingdom Chronicler whether or not it
is ok for another event to conflict with his/hers. If a group chooses,
it can prevent another group from scheduling an event within 150 miles
if it registers an event with the Kingdom Chronicler first. The
exception to theis rule is Kingdom events, which, according to Atlantian
law are on the first weekend of every month except January and
September, when it is the second weekend. Thus, we do have a policy and
practice in place, since about 1994... If a group says no other can
conflict and another group wants to, they must negotiate directly with
the autocrat of the first event...
