Archers -

Poster: rmhowe <magnusm@ncsu.edu>

In going through the current issue of Instinctive Archer, an excellent
magazine by the way, I found the following that might be of interest
to our traditional archers for a change:

Think about going in garb, lots of times reading archery magazines I
have noted that some folks are desperately looking to find others who
like traditional archery.

You might just get some new members in addition to having a good time!

Instinctive Archery means without sights or modern equipment like
compound bows, recurves are still used. Much like SCA archery.

BTW, does anyone have a Winter 96, third issue, of Instinctive Archer?
I would like to buy it. Say $20? Only one not currently available.

The magazine covers a lot of historical archery, as well as how to's
and some hunting. Very similar to Traditional Bowhunter - but has
more historical articles. (208) 465-9893. Hugh Soar, of the Society
of Archer Antiquaries in England is co-editor and you would like the
articles. $12 a year.
