Actually, I wholeheartedly agree that communication is a Good Thing. And yes, the P will 
affect everyone, that's very true. I just feel that there's already a specific forum for 
discussing it. I myself am subscribed to the P-list, so I get all the discussions anyway. 
However, I know that there are folks who are subscribed to the Merry Rose who would just 
rather not be subject to the flame wars. These aren't necessarily folks who don't want to 
discuss the P, (and I know this because I have discussed it with them face to face), they 
just don't want to discuss it online, where things are more likely to get out of hand. That is 
why I asked that the P- discussion be kept to the P-list. That's all.
