Schola for the Lost Vii October 23-25
We offer a full slate of classes in all forms of SCA life. Both the
crustiest old-times and the newest newbies will find something to
interest them. In addition we are planning heavy and light fighting,
archery, thrown weapons, and the bardic arts. This will be topped off by
a splendid 3 remove feast with a Nordic theme. In honor of the Norse, no
chicken will be served.
This is the same site as last years Schola, with the beautiful lake, lake
monsters, plentiful camping space, cabins and hot showers. Discreetly
damp, wine and beer only. Please keep all containers out of sight during
the day, and remove all empties. Sorry no pets are allowed.
Merchants welcome.
There are still openings for instructors; if you would like to teach a
class, please contact the autocrat.
Costs: $15 on board, $7 off. Children under 12 half-priced. Babes in
arms free.
Make checks to SCA, Inc., Shire of Montevale and mail to Vicki Lewis at
107 Timber Lane, Shippensburg, PA 17257. If you want cabin space
please indicate on your reservation. Cabin space is limited and is on a
first-come, first-served basis.
Site opens at 5 pm, Friday, Oct 23 and closes at 3 pm Sunday Oct. 25.
Autocrat: Lord Karl Rasmussen of Tvede (Dana Tweedy), 2488 New Franklin
