Renaissance and Baroque Italy's Art and Food -- A Feast for the Eyes

Wanted to let everyone know about an all-day seminar being 
offered by the Smithsonian in its "Campus on the Mall" program.

In this slide-illustrated seminar, food and art historian Gillian Riley 
(author of "A Feast for the Eyes") discusses the irresistible 
combination of food and art, as exemplified magnificently in 
Renaissance and Baroque Italy. 

Participants will also enjoy an Italian Renaissance-style luncheon 
specially prepared by Chef Peter Schaffrath and his staff at the 
Willard Hotel.
