I like buying my fabric at Wal-Mart but for spiff stuff I always try and catch
the upolstery remnant bins at Minnasota/Hancock Fabrics.  Regularly discounted
at $6.88/yrd., they sometimes have a 50% off sale on that price...and they
also have a Fabric Card (tm) Credit Card that will get you a percentage back
in certificates to spend there.  :-)  Also, once at Wal-Mart I went to an
advertized special fabric sale at 6 AM and found remarkable things for $1 to
$2 a yard...I haven't seen it done again but it was an adventure!
