HIDDEN MOUNTAIN BARONIAL INVESTITURE & THE 20TH TOURNEY OF MANANNAN mac LIR.

Come ye from the frozen lands of the north to a slightly more hospitable
climate. The Canton of Tear-Sea's Shore asks you to join their Royal
Majesties and their Royal Highnesses as we welcome our new Baroness and say
a fond farewell to Baroness Simone de Barjavel.
We invite all fighters to compete in our traditional open tourney for the
Brooch of Manannan mac Lir, followed by smaller tourneys in specific weapons
forms.
Open A&S and Bardic competitions will be based on the sea, be it vessels,
persons, or creatures from the deep, as depicts the legend of Manannan mac
Lir.
Feast will be provided by THL Bruno Jager and the rest of the House of the
Drunken Moose. Vivat!. For dietary concerns contact Mistylla of the Misty

There is a large playground for the children to run amuck in. This site is
discreetly wet, no original containers please. No pets, please. Sorry, no
merchanting either. These are site imposed restrictions. To those of you
familiar with Manannan's of the past, please note we have a NEW SITE. Your
lodgings for the weekend will be Short Stay Navy Rec Area, 211 Short Stay
Rd. Moncks Corner, SC 29461. The site opens at 5 PM Friday and closes at
noon on Sunday. Based upon the type of accommodations you request, the
fees will be as follows: On-board, on site $17 per person in advance. $20
at the door if available. These luxury cabins will house 10 adults, floor
space may also be used. On board, off site $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
Off board, on site $10 in advance, $13 at the door. Off board, off site $3
in advance and $5 at the door. Children under 12 half price. Children
under 4 are our guests. Feast space is limited to 150 guests.
Advance prices apply to paid reservations received by January 21 to Krystyne
MacGowan of Rose Hill (Christine Petersen 8016 Eberly Ave. No Charleston, SC
29420). Make checks payable to the Canton of Tear-Sea's Shore, SCA, Inc. If

Directions: Best route to I-26, Take exit 199B Summerville/Moncks Corner.
Take 17a to 52E approx 15 mi., in Moncks Corner. Follow 52/17a for approx.
2 mi. Then stay on 52 towards Bonneau. The site will be approx. 3 mi on the
left. Follow the signs for Naval Recreation Short Stay. There will also be
SCA signs posted.
