Jest a minute now. <g> I am glad to see such open and honest comments
on fighting here on the Rose, and must say also, much of what I said was
in Jest, to get a rise, so you all would come down here to Village Raids
and look for me. <g> But I also added a bit of truth too, there is and
will remain a perception by many that at times, things get a little too
rough.
My original post was a follow up for a solicitation of Mercenaries to
fight here. "The ducking for cover" part was meant to indicate that
yes, I knew in advance I might see thistle missiles, Boldar blunt and
possible other heavier objects tossed my way. But I stand here, in your
presence even today to say, "I respect Atlantia".
I have learned much from my Atlantian neighbors, and while I have never
lived there, I have lived in four other kingdoms including the west.
So, yes, I will say you all do play tougher than anywhere have ever
been. I hope my comments did rise some honest self examination. The
shoe was not meant to fit all.
It is a wonder why any Atlantian would comment at an event that "We only
wear full plate in Atlantia" if it was not the rule, but quite possibly,
it was campfire talk to frighten us away from venturing north of our
borders.
You are all welcome to beat my arse if I really seriously have offended
thee. Please advise me a week in advance so I can get my long term
disability paid up. <g>
