I do indeed remember Tarn. He was the perennial winner of the "Worst Avid
Fighter in the Barony" award back in my Tir-Y-Don/Rencester days. Once he
was paired with my SCA-little-sister Griseldis Falkner in a partially-
martial contest. Their combined elan (and some cleverness) won them a
prize. Tarn must have known he wasn't very good -- but he NEVER let that
stop him from trying, or from having a helluva time out there.
