And it's not by any means an inaccurate first impression.  Certainly
there's a lot of that going on, and by my observation, was a lot *more*
of that going on 10-15 years ago, when the 'average age of a SCAdian'
was a bit younger, Pennsic was a bit smaller and the worry about STD's
was a lot less prevalent.

But to take *any* event at that sort of reputation is akin to saying
"The SCA is about fighting"....
