First impressions

My most vivid memory of my first event back in the Mid in '91 was of 
the dancing, which I couldn't do because my ankle was still in a 
cast, and the post-revel.  It wasn't a major party, it was just a 
bunch of people sitting around a small room yakking and telling "no 
*^&$ I was there" stories, and I remember thinking that these people 
were an awful lot like family, and I wanted to be a part of it.  
Eight years later (ack!) I'm still here and having more fun than I've 
had in years.....(Did I mention that heavy fighting is fun too?  
Fight all day, dance all night,  yeah......)
