One other suggestion is the food court at Pentagon City mall.
There is a metro stop under the mall and it's just across the river.
(Also, a little closer to me in Alexandria than the Post Office
Pavilion, even if that is one of my favorite places, especially
since my fiance and I first had lunch there... :-)

Just a suggestion.
