...as I was saying:

The Mulla Nasirdin desired his neighbor's pot and hatched upon a plan.  He
borrowed the pot from his neighbor.  When he returned it a few days later, he
also returned a small pot rather like the first.
"A wonderous miracle!" Said Nasurdin.  "Your pot has given birth to a fine,
strapping saucepan!  Rejoice in your good fortune!"

The neighbor, pleased to take advantage of the Mulla's lunacy, made quite the
fuss over the new arrival and welcomed the "baby" into his household as
honored kin.
