Oracle Corporation's Government Services group seeks to fill a senior project 
management position in its emerging health informatics consultancy. 
 
Responsibilities include managing Oracle's participation in 
government-industry cooperative research consortia; supporting prototyping 
and 
demonstration system development; serving as a conduit for information about 
Oracle's products and directions to consortium members, and for information 
about future health informatics needs to Oracle developers; participating in 
development of follow-on business. 
 
The ideal candidate will have several years' senior-level experience in 
medium-to-large scale project management; full lifecycle software development 
experience; exposure to current issues in information strategy/enterprise 
information management; broad knowledge of Oracle's main product lines; 
interest and skills in developing business in a fast-growing industry; 
ability 
to work credibly at many levels of technical intensity and management 
hierarchy.  One of more of the following would be strong plusses:  healthcare 
or health informatics experience; experience with Oracle's CASE tools and 
methods; experience with multimedia and/or web-based services delivery; 
object-oriented design and development.
