I've had this problem with a very 'pissy' cat. I've used a product called
"odor gun" available at walmarts in the car care section. Than after spraying
that down, I washed it (by hand) in cold water and line dried it. It worked
well and now Brok's knitted wool tights smell like Badger, not like cat. (Is
that an improvement?:)
