Merry Rose Denizens

[What DOES one call a patron of the Merry Rose? 'tis a good question, and one
that I have thought on in my copious free time here at work.]
[For those of you who have made the comment that I have too much free time
here at work in order to post as frequently and verbosely as I do, part of the
answer is: Don't Tell My Boss. The other part is, I type REALLY fast...]

Anyway, what to call a Merry Rose Denizen...Hmm...

Well, Roseacea is right out.

[The rest of you can look it up when you get home...;>]

Well, there are several ways we could look for a name. One would involve some
kind of pronounceable acronym...hmm...

M(erry) R(ose) D(enizen)...MRD...how about MuRDerer's Row?

how about some kind of jumble...

Mrry Rse Denie

...Zone [there are other words that can be formed from the remaining letters,
but nothing leaps to mind...]

Days of Wine and Roses? Naah...

How about "Moonies"? I mean, they're always selling roses, and they're
probably about as whacked out...

Naah. One, it's taken, and two, it's stupid.

Something catchy...something easily remembered...something to strike fear into
the hearts of those who hear it...[sorry, couldn't help myself]

Hmm...Cheapsiders?

AOLers? [Atlantian On Line]
Naah...too confusing to the real thing...

OK...here's one that, while silly-sounding at first (at least to me), actually
has potential.

Q: What sharp, pointed things generally inhabit a rose?

A: Thorns.

So...the Merry Thorns.

Isn't free association a bitch?

Next time ask me an easy question, like "what's the weight of the world?"

That one I can answer without having my ears start smoking...
